About The Team
This is one of the currently two members of the Kingdom of Secrets development team. Basically, this is a project that my best friend and I decided to dive into due to our vast love for video games, specifically old school RPGs. We're both very creative people and have tons of ideas, however putting our very ambitious ideas into actual reality is a difficult and daunting task to do with just the two of us.
 
What We Are Looking For
Basically, what we really need help with right now is mapping. We recently began to parallax map which means that most of our old maps need an overhaul. In addition to that we still have at least 75% of the maps left to create for the game on top of everything else we need to do. What we would like to find, ideally, is someone who has some experience with parallax mapping, and access to the necessary tools. We would obviously provide you with the resource files we would like to use, descriptions of what we would like the maps to look like, and sharing the work load.
 

What Do You Get
A billion dollars and a hug! Okay, no sorry we don't have a billion dollars. We are actually both poor college students struggling enough as it is right now. However, we would of course credit you properly as a main and key asset to the team. You would also get to be "in the know" about our project at all times, be completely up to date with what is happening, and even get to offer your input and influence on the story line and other key aspects of our game. Oh, you'll also get our sincerest gratitude and one day, when one of us either wins the lottery or somehow makes it big we will reward you in some awesome way. Maybe you'll get to meet Oprah! Or...something.
 
How To Join
All you have to do is express your interest to us by clicking the "Contact" button on the menu above and submit an email to us. While we appreciate any interest at all in this, we do have to be sure that it is a partnership that will benefit everyone. That being said, we'd also appreciate some samples of your work. Just a map or two for us to look at so we can see your general skills and what your design aesthetic is.

Co-Webmaster
 
Someone who is good with web design and is familiar with the google sites tool. You generally won't have much to do other than help make sure our website is running properly and looks pretty as ever. (I know it's not quite pretty yet, but we'll be working on that soon.)
 
Graphics Artist / Spriter
 
Basically we are looking for someone to do both face sets and to create sprites for us. You will obviously be credited appropriately for your work, and the projects we ask fo you we will try to keep very doable and spaced out so that you don't feel overwhelmed.
 
Note: Please be aware that we have very specific styles in mind, and would like all face sets and other custom art to match what we currently have. If something you make for us does not fit properly within the style we will probably not be able to use it.
 
Music / Sound Effects
 
Honestly any contributions in this area will be greatly appreciated. Even if the music you create doesn't fit for a certain scene we will most likely be able to find a place for it in the project somewhere. Again, you will be credited appropriately.
